We are using trac and
git for developing various tools. For more
information, please refer to the respective project wikis.
Various tools assist our analysis of the variability in the Linux Kernel
and, in future, also other free and open source software projects. Our
most important tool is coined the undertaker, which
searches and eliminates dead and undead conditional blocks from project
that managed their variability with the C-Preprocessor.
Since its inception, it has matured to a toolbox of utilities for
answering various research questions related to variability in
general.
