• Advanced Operating Systems Programming II (AKBP II) - Winter 1998/99
  This is an intensive course held during the first two weeks of March. After an introduction to UNIX System V Release 4 internals and to the peculiarities of SunOS 5.6, the participants have to create and debug their own kernels and modify system calls. About two thirds of the course duration are reserved for a small project, where the participants write new file systems and device drivers.
  Sorry, but all information on the course and the projects is only available in German. Although most of the projects reached a more or less stable state, we currently do not distribute the source code or binaries.
• Object-oriented Concepts in Distributed Systems (OODS) - Summer 1998
  In the summer semester 1998 we changed the name of the former OOBP lecture to OODS because the focus has gradually shifted from OS to middleware topics. Michael Golm and I again did the tutorial part. We didn't changed much except for the fact that the tutorial was held in English.
• Advanced Operating Systems Programming II (AKBP II) - Winter 1997/98
  Sorry, but all information on this course is only available in German.
• Object-oriented Concepts in Operating Systems (OOBP) - Summer 1997
  During the summer semester 1997 Michael Golm and I taught the tutorial part of the OOBP lecture. This tutorial is basically a Java and C++ programming course with some advanced chapters on Applets, RMI, and CORBA. I taught the C++ and CORBA parts.
