The I4FAX FAX Server

The Informatik 4 entertains a FAX Server, that

• converts various formats into G3 facsimiles
• accepts electronic mail and forwards it to any given facsimile number
• forwards received facsimiles to a so called FaxMaster as a multimedia mail using the MIME standard. The FaxMaster in turn can forward the received facsimile to its real (intended) recipient.
• provides for per-user access control.

Access to the I4FAX server

Although basically everyone can use our I4FAX server, there are some access restrictions for non Informatik 4 people.
