Access Restrictions For Non Informatik 4 Persons

First of all, everybody can send facsimiles to our FAX server (its number is +49.9131.85.28732) --- the following restrictions apply only to the usage of the Email-to-FAX (or Postscript-to-FAX) service of the I4FAX server.

Basically, anyone can use the Email-to-FAX/Postscript-to-FAX service of the I4FAX server. However, there are some restrictions:

• All members of the Informatik 4 enjoy full access to the I4FAX server. This includes
  • sending facsimiles to any destination
  • receiving facsimiles from any destination

• All other persons can only send to persons within the University. Thus, if you are not a member of the Informatik 4 you still can use the I4FAX server, but only for
  • sending facsimiles to FAX numbers within the University of Erlangen-Nürnberg, i.e. to all FAX numbers having a prefix of

    +49.9131.85

  N.B.: We do not provide facilities for non Informatik 4 members to receive facsimiles, that would require too much human intervention.
